Please try and park in one of the two structures indicated on the map. No parking permit will be necessary. Parking on the streets is limited to two hours, and the parking patrol will issue tickets to cars parked longer than two hours.
A shuttle bus will be making stops at each hotel (listed below)* and dropping participants off at the conference each day. Schedule:
11/4/01: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
11/5/01: 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
11/6/01: 7:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
11/7/01: 7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.The shuttle will run every 15 minutes for the 1st two hours and once an hour for the rest of the day
Shuttle Route: Courtyard by Marriott, Sheraton, Vagabond Inn, Westway Inn, Caltech Campus.
*The Ritz Carlton has its own shuttle van, you can arrange pick up and drop off with the front desk.
You are responsible for your own hotel reservations. Please contact the hotels directly to make reservations. Please book early. Other conferences being held in November in Pasadena will quickly fill up the available hotel space.
The following hotels offer attractive locations and/or pricing for the conference. When making reservations, mention you are staying for the "ICSB2001" conference. We will arrange for shuttle transportation from the hotels to the Caltech campus -- except for the Ritz Carleton (limousine service is available, please check with the hotel).
